Neglecting a toothache or recommended treatment can result in severe dental issues. Emergencies that require prompt treatment may include:
- Fractured or Cracked Tooth
- Knocked-out (avulsed) Tooth
- Severe Tooth Pain
- Continuous Bleeding
- Swelling of the mouth/gums
- Broken, lost, or knocked-out restoration (filling, crown, implant)
Beginning with an examination, Dr. Guess will identify your cause of pain and recommend immediate treatment and/or a long-term plan to restore your overall oral health. If you find yourself faced with a dental emergency, don’t ignore it and suffer in pain; contact us at 940-781-8120 where a member of our staff is on call 24/7.
Most dental emergencies are best handled by a dentist, but in the event you can’t get ahold of your dentist, you may call 911 or go to the nearest ER.
